YOYO, a loving hippo, is on a constant diet throughout the year. Like the word, "yoyo-effect", she attempts to succeed in her diet but constantly fails as she cannot resist the temptation of food. She finds exercising very challenging and tends to procrastinate. Due to her frequent diet failures, she gets nagged all the time by her health trainer, Cochi-Cochi.

Cochi-Cochi is a flying squirrel who is highly committed to maintaining good health. He diligently follows a health regimen all year round and enjoys a disciplined lifestyle due to his perfectionist habits. Cochi-Cochi wears a pink cape to cover his
muscular and well-defined body. He often feels very frustrated with Yoyo and finds himself nagging about her diet.
