MOOROOTS is a Korean contemporary fashion brand established in 2017. Guided by its motto, “Tradition for Everyday Life,” the brand creates clothing and accessories inspired by traditional Korean dress and culture.
The name MOOROOTS stands for “Movement from the Roots,” reflecting the brand’s commitment to developing new designs and possibilities from its cultural foundations. MOOROOTS reinterprets the curves, collars, closures, and layering of hanbok through contemporary silhouettes, incorporating traditional Korean motifs and mother-of-pearl details into knitwear, shirts, jackets, and dresses.
Signature pieces include reversible quilted jeogori jackets, knitted jeogori tops and vests, workwear-inspired jeogori jackets, and shirts and blousons featuring sipjangsaeng—the ten traditional symbols of longevity. With relaxed silhouettes and practical fabrics, the brand prioritizes comfort and everyday wearability, offering gender-inclusive pieces alongside menswear and womenswear collecti
