Whenever Ratti discovers something, there is only one thing to do: fly straight to Baddi the honey badger and tell him all about it. Thanks to Ratti’s never-ending stream of information, Baddi often finds himself pulled into unexpected trouble and adventures.
The name Ratti is inspired by the English expression “rat out,” meaning to tell on or snitch on someone. The wordplay reflects both the honeyguide’s natural role of leading other animals toward honey and Ratti’s habit of reporting every little discovery to Baddi.
