Description
The dystopian world after the Third World War is a thorough hierarchical society where dominating rulers in District A control highly developed scientific technology and information. Lee Lina born in District B works as a security manager in District A and falls into despair after being judged as terminally ill, but she finds a console from VR dating simulation Raison D’Être.
A character, Anastasia played by her in Raison D’Être suffers a mysterious disease like Lee Lina in reality, and she is destined to kill the devil king and 4 henchmen.
After that, Lee Lina recognizes the information that people in District A have internal life through the revolutionary army. Lee Lina participates in the revolutionary army to cure her disease. Lee Lina completes her mission by handing over essential security information for the exploding District A mission to the revolutionary army. After the success of the revolution, it was revealed that people in District A exist only as data through the ‘digitization of memory’ technology. Lee Lina feels a strong sense of loss and futility.
Meanwhile, Lee Lina realizes that Raison D’Être thought as a virtual world in the game is her previous life and another world that exists somewhere in reality. Finally, Lee Lina decides to return to the world, Raison D’Être where the people she loves exist and accept her destiny as Anastasia who defeats the absolute evil.
