The average marriage age is 18 years in Lavata Empire. Baron’s ladyship, Penelope is currently 24 years old and treated as an old maid, and there is a secret that others don’t know about. However, the man was none other than Emperor Bart. Bart falls in love with her and shows his strong affection for her. She tries to reject his mind, but he saves her several times, so she begins to have romantic feelings toward Bart.
Meanwhile, Princess Julia, taken hostage from the Turan kingdom, writes a letter to her kingdom as Bart’s mind is inclined to Penelope. After receiving that letter, Prince Yulson, a prince of the Turan Kingdom with a brutal personality appears. Prince Yulson has a grudge against Bart because her mother, queen died under a false accusation, and to avenge this, he decides to make Penelope his woman. However, unexpectedly, he begins to love Penelope who resembles his mother.
Meanwhile, a fire breaks out in the Baron Zecalion’s house. Penelope loses her senses while helping her mother in the burning house and hears the voice of the goddess. Penelope decides to become an empress to protect her family and enters the palace. After becoming an empress, Penelope looks at Bart beside him, admits her love for Bart, and begins to love him sincerely.
While spending sweet time with Bart, crisis approaches occasionally. Prince Yuslon who desires Penelope causes trouble constantly, and the time of fate comes for Penelope. As a result, a war breaks out between the Turan Kingdom and the Lavata Empire. Bart falls into a crisis to protect Penelope. To protect him, Penelope saves the world by awakening the power of the goddess, the reason for remembering her previous life, and makes a wish.
Penelope returns to the past and opens her eyes to the world without war. When Penelope becomes a debutante, Bart loves her at first sight like destiny, asks her to dance and a new night begins with dancing together.
