SUMMARY
- - Sales from the broadcasting industry1) in 2021 approximately reached KRW
23 trillion and 970.7 billion, increasing by 9.1%, which is equivalent to KRW
2 trillion and 6 billion. The average annual growth rate from 2017 to 2021 was
7.4%. The number of businesses in the broadcasting industry in 2021 was
estimated to be about 1,133, 5.9% increase from the previous year, and the
average annual growth rate for the past five years, from 2017 to 2021, was 1.8%.
The number of workers engaged in the broadcasting industry was 50,160, 0.2%
decrease from the previous year. The annual average growth rate of the workers
between 2017 to 2021 was 2.6%.
