laonarae is a content company that develops and produces original character IPs centered around adorable animal characters. With emotional storytelling and warm visual styles, laonarae builds immersive character universes that resonate with a wide range of audiences.
The company currently owns two flagship character IPs: PETITBEAR Friends and PP HUNTERS.
PETITBEAR Friends is a heartwarming IP set in a whimsical toy world, featuring characters inspired by teddy bears. With soft and comforting designs, the stories convey themes of friendship, comfort, and the value of everyday moments. This IP has strong cross-generational appeal, reaching children as well as young adult audiences.
PP HUNTERS is a story-driven IP that begins with three adorable puppies secretly following their owner in order to protect them. Combining lovable characters with light adventure elements, the IP holds strong potential for expansion into animation, digital content, and character licensing.
In addition, laonarae operates an offline store in Yeonnam-dong, Seoul, where character-based merchandise and brand experiences allow direct engagement with consumers. This space also serves as a testbed to quickly gauge market response and foster a growing fanbase for its IPs.
laonarae aims to expand its IPs into animation, digital media, and global licensing businesses, with the goal of growing into a globally competitive character brand.

Our first project ‘Grami’s Circus Show’ has been credited for its value on the international stage winning for the competition of TV series for Teen at ‘Cartoons on the Bay’ and being nominated in ‘Annecy International Animation Festival’. And 'Journey of Long' was selected for TV Pilot at Cartoons on the Bay and won the grand prize for Best Character at SPP. Featured animation project "Millionaire Woody" was pitched at Cartoon Movie in Bordeaux French and our newest animation 'Tomoncar' is the first animation produced using Unity in Asia.

Aran Story Hanbok pursues design for the creative succession of traditional culture and promotion of various world cultures, and all clothes contain a story. Aran Story hanbok is the clothing that adds modern comfort based on traditional beauty and makes me shine more by pursuing specialness.
As the world pays attention to the status of the Korean Wave, Aran Story is carrying out a cultural property project. Based on my career as a cultural heritage commentator for more than 10 years, I am working to spread awareness that hanbok is not just a piece of clothing, but a cultural asset, by designing Korean cultural heritage in hanbok. In addition, cultural heritage design produces original and unique products by designing not only everyday hanbok, but also scarves, handkerchiefs, and bags.
